Chintan Chautari

Chintan Chautari is a youth-led psychology club based in Kathmandu, Nepal, dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and creating safe spaces for children and youth. Our mission is to empower individuals to understand and communicate their emotions while advocating for systemic change in mental health support across schools and communities. We organize impactful programs such as: Mental Health Awareness Sessions in schools, colleges, and correction homes. Safe Space Initiatives within colleges for open dialogue on mental health. Training on Psychological First Aid to build a network of trained advocates. Policy Advocacy for integrating psychological counselors in government schools under the "One School, One Psychologist" initiative. Advocacy for Restorative Justice Practices that focus on healing, rehabilitation, and community building, fostering a more compassionate and equitable society. Driven by data and collaboration, we aim to make a measurable impact on mental health awareness and support systems in Nepal.
