The idea emerged in 1994 with Founder Lance Spence wanting to create a safe, fun and active environment for his kids. 18 months later, Chipmunks started in Christchurch in 1996 and has now grown to over 40 centres globally. Each Chipmunks Indoor playground is carefully curated to help children gain valuable social skills in a safe and secure environment.
