We are a grade 7 to 12 school that is located in the heart of North Bay, Ontario. Originally opened as a secondary school in 1958, we have a rich history in the North Bay area. In 2009 it was determined that Chippewa would become the first secondary school to welcome grade 7 and 8 students, thus becoming the first grades 7 to 12 school within the Nipissing District.
At Chippewa we offer of a variety of programming options including:
- French Immersion and Extended French from grades 7 through 12
- Specialist High Skills Majors in Business and Sport
- International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
