Chipress - We help Hardware Engineers to find their dream jobs through providing up-to-date interview questions and career growth roadmap like a LeetCode for software engineer. We are group of hardware engineers from Silicon Valley who built this website to help undergraduate/graduate students and professionals prepare for the digital design and verification interviews and land a dream job in hardware industry. We have been through multiple rounds of hardware interviews, and totally understand how stressful and struggling they can be. We also suffered the same pain as you might have when desiring to further grow or explore new opportunities in this field. Unlike software engineers who are able to find abundant of sources for preparation such as LeetCode, Stack Overflow, LintCode, etc., hardware engineers are hardly find their counterparts. The golden information is here and there, but nowhere summarizes it in an organized way that can be easily followed. This website is designed for sharing our knowledge, experience and view towards digital design and verification interviews. The structure of our content is organized in the same way as how modern ASIC/VLSI industry partition the workflow. We want make sure our readers gain the real industrial experience by understanding what skills the companies are looking for. We will start from the computer architecture, where the bandwidth, latency, area and power requirements are defined. After that, we will cover digital design and verification techniques and considerations, and how these two components interact with each other. Integration and synthesis mark the start point of implementation, and they are followed by physical design and timing verification. Various physical and timing constraints will be covered, along with possible iterations inside the implementation flow.
