Chiral Quest, founded in 2000, serves the global pharmaceutical industry with custom contract chemical development and manufacturing services, from preclinical development to commercial supply. We have a state-of-the-art R&D laboratory equipped with modern analytical instruments, as well as a first class manufacturing facility. Chiral Quest has successfully developed more than 400 intermediates for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients ranging from preclinical to phase III, with four intermediates being supplied for API’s approved by the FDA. We manufacture technology advantaged products from grams to metric ton scale.
Chiral Quest has a manufacturing site in Jiangxi province, China; Headquarters and R&D center located in Suzhou Industrial Park, China; 3 business/customer service offices located in the USA, Europe and India. We have expertise in asymmetric hydrogenation, multi-step synthesis and cryogenic reactions. Based on our key technology and capability, we can supply chiral compounds, including non-natural amino acids, chiral alcohols and chiral amines, on a kg to ton scale. We are better than anyone at manufacturing Phenylalanines! We also manufacture achiral intermediates.
Chiral Quest's R&D center at Biobay, Suzhou Industrial Park has more than 30 chemists, including 7 with Ph.D. and 8 with M.S.degrees. We have over 20 granted patents covering asymmetric catalysts and novel processes. Based on our technology, we manufacture many API intermediates with high enantiomeric excess.
Jiangxi Long Life Bio-pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. a wholly owned subsidiary of Chiral Quest, is dedicated to research, development and manufacture of pharmaceutical intermediates and fine chemicals. The factory is located in Jinxian Industrial Park, Jiangxi province, and has more than 200 employees, more than 230 reaction vessels and 410,000 L capacity. More than 23 million US dollars was invested in 2013 to expand the plant and establish a cGMP capability.
