The CHIRON Group, headquartered in Tuttlingen, is a global company specializing in CNC-controlled vertical milling and turning centers. Among the brands, CHIRON primarily stands for speed and precision, while STAMA emphasizes robust milling and heavy cutting and SCHERER builds on multifunctional vertical pickup turning centers. Founded in 1921 as a workshop for the manufacture of precision mechanical equipment and surgical instruments, the CHIRON-Werke made a successful entry in the development and manufacture of vertical machining centers for metal-processing operations during the 1950s. Since 1957, the Hoberg & Driesch group of companies in Dusseldorf has owned CHIRON-Werke. STAMA has been a part of the corporate group since 1997 and SCHERER since 2012. CHIRON TURKEY was founded with the partnership of CHIRON-Werke GmbH (Germany) in 2010. Its story started with a field- and CHIRON-experienced crew and today the company has offices in İstanbul and İzmir, and stationary service departments located in İstanbul, İzmir and Bursa. Having “customer benefit” as primary objective in every project, CHIRON TURKEY is in cooperation with their customers from the quotation phase until the successful production of the first samples.
