Chisel & Weave is an ecommerce store that curates handicrafts and textiles from India for the Australian market. All our products are sourced directly from local artisans, craftspeople and designers. Through our work, we strive to partner with rural women, village cooperatives, and rural individual/family tradespeople to serve as the voice for these forgotten arts. Our endeavor is to connect the traditional artisan with you, our discerning customer. A lot of the textiles and handicrafts that you'll see at Chisel & Weave aremade with techniques and art that is passed down from one generation to the next and can be traced back centuries. As part of the evolution these various forms of work, some products are now made with the help of machines while most of what we source is still hand made.
