About CHQ

Formed remotely in 2020 amidst the coronavirus pandemic and an undergrad senior capstone project, our indie studio has been a gathering place for those who are passionate about improving their game development skills and creating new play experiences. Our first project Homerun Miko, a 2D-isometric puzzle game, was created from concept to completion in less than one year and received accolades from the Tencent GWB Game Awards 2021, PIZZAPRANKS's Indiepocalypse #18, and the UC Santa Cruz Games Showcase 2021 Sammy Awards. Since then, we've participated in multiple game jams, releasing seven more projects with our own twists on familiar genres including rhythm, survival, and visual novel.
