The Universal House of Justice said “To every generation of young believers comes an opportunity to make a contribution to the fortunes of humanity, unique to their time of life. For the present generation, the moment has come to reflect, to commit, to steel themselves for a life of service from which blessing will flow in abundance.” We believe that it is our time to shine in the darkness for our generation. As you know, the youth of this generation grew up exposed to a spiritually corrupt society in comparison to our ancestors. From our perspective there is a lack of Godly role models in our youth, we think that as young people it’s our turn to proclaim the gospel the right way and be a role model to our youth, and this is the platform that ChristConnect has built. ChristConnect is an organization that helps children of God around the world to connect on social media. ChristConnect was founded in 2016, it started as platform for young adults in United States to encourage, lead, empower with fellow youth and young adults in our generation also to manifest the power of the holy spirit as Jesus did and expand the kingdom of God to other nations as the bible commanded us. ChristConnect lets you take over its snapchat account for a day so you could share your testimony, your daily struggles, success or questions you have with people around the world. ChristConnect has been expanding from just an account on snapchat, facebook, twitter and instagram to an actual non-profit organization that will help spread the Gospel. This movement was originally started by kalkidan haile and Samuel Tumebo.
