Christian AID Program - Kurdistan Region

Christian AID Program is a large and active national Christian value-based NGO. It has been involved in and implemented a wide range of humanitarian and developmental projects and activities, help suffering and vulnerable communities rebuild their lives and futures. These sectors include Health, Protection, Advocacy, Livelihood, Education, Community infrastructure, and advocacy, in addition to Syriac promotion and church education programs that preserve the national, linguistic, and cultural identity of the Christian Assyrian people. Since its beginning, Christian AID Program has been a pioneer in delivering humanitarian assistance to IDPs and host communities, focusing on minorities [Christians and Yazidis], who are regarded as the most disadvantaged and vulnerable populations. Christian AID Program developed and documented its Vision, Mission, and Values in May 2016 as follows: VISION “Christian AID Program as a Christian organization seeks hope, tolerance, & social justice for society, where minority & vulnerable people have dignified existence and security. Christian AID Program will be a force and a partner of choice in a movement dedicated to ending all forms of discriminations against minority people” MISSION “Our mission is to build lasting solutions for minorities & the vulnerable with a focus on improving their lives and promoting their rights. Christian AID Program engages with partners to promote self-help and influence public opinion and practice by bringing together wisdom based on sound analysis and field practices” VALUES We believe in Empowerment, Accountability, Inclusiveness, Collaborations, and Internality.
