Chrometics is a method for English Language Learners to practice and improve their English reading and speaking skills. It visually organizes vowel and consonant sounds with color. Chrometics can be said to be phonics with training wheels.
Chrometics was originally taught in classrooms using only paper and pencil. Very quickly, students were introduced to the method through a specialized Chrometics computer program.
