At Conexión, we exclusively use “fine or flavour” Arriba Nacional cacao beans from Ecuador, representing only 5% of global chocolate production. Celebrated for their complexity and balance, Arriba beans are integral to our commitment to high-quality chocolate. We oppose the industry's shift towards GMO cacao, working directly with farmers to preserve this national treasure. Our chocolate reflects Ecuador’s unique terroir, as we select the finest cacao beans to capture the distinct flavors of each region. *FOUNDER* Jenny Samaniego launched Conexión Chocolate after nearly a decade in the industry, believing in the potential for exquisite chocolate to be made in her home country. As one of the few women in the bean-to-bar sector, she focuses on virgin and couverture chocolate.
