The new ‘Connected Health & Wellbeing’ Cluster was announced in 2020 as part of Enterprise Ireland’s Regional Technology Cluster Fund,
CHW Cluster is one of 12 new business Clusters based at IoTs / TUs. The benefits of business Clusters (43% more global, 77% higher growth, 13.5% higher salary) are proven across the EU.
The new Programme will encourage Irish companies (indigenous and FDI) to:
- Increase their collaboration with complementary companies and other relevant organisations (Academia / Support / Public Sector Healthcare). Collaboration will be encouraged from workshops to strategic collaborations, strengthening as time progresses.
- Establish Ireland as a Centre of Excellence and Internationally-recognised Hub for expertise in the Connected Health & Wellbeing sector.
The aims of the Connected Health & Well-Being Cluster are to:
- Increase collaboration amongst companies
- Improve productivity of relevant companies / cluster members
- Increase innovation & Internationalisation
