The International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction (CIB) is a worldwide network of building and construction experts who improve their day-to-day performance through international co-operation and information exchange with their peers.
It’s an international community of brilliant minds and head-of-class entities, early career researchers and student chapters, focused on building and construction research and innovation. CIB was established in 1953 with United Nations’ assistance and holds special UN consultative status.
The Board of Directors is an impressive group of 25 senior leaders within their countries’ research and academic communities.
Collaborate and Compare: CIB’s 40+ Commissions give members the opportunity to collaborate with global experts on in-depth and multi-facetted research and consensus building. Each Commission consists of global researchers, academics, and practitioners and cover the most relevant aspects of building and construction.
