CiBot Coil Inspection Robot

CiBot is a robotic technology designed for measuring degree of carburization in furnace tubes. It is applicable to high alloys used in ethylene pyrolysis tubes. The technology has been proven in the industry for 10 years and it is now available for global service. Carburization is one of the key mechanical problems always found in ethylene cracking furnaces or any alloy exposed to high temperature for a long time. Conventionally, the tubes are replaced when it reaches a certain operating hours. CiBot, on the other hand, offers a chance to determine the degree of carburization in the tubes. Therefore, replacement can be decided based on the tube condition, which enables the maximum utilization of tubes and optimum replacement schedule.
