Construction Industry Council - Eswatini

The Construction Industry Council (CIC) is Eswatini's lead construction sector regulatory and promotion body under the Ministry of Public Works and Transport. The CIC is mandated through the established Construction Industry Council Act No 14 of 2013 primarily to regulate and promote the construction industry in meeting national construction demands, while providing strategic leadership to industry stakeholders for the stimulation of sustainable growth, reform and improvement in the country’s construction sector. All companies and persons involved in construction are required by law among other things, to be registered with the Council. OUR PURPOSE: We regulate, develop, and promote the construction industry to improve the socio-economic status of Eswatini. OUR INTENT: To transform the construction industry to attain competitiveness and excellence.
