CIFGA is a chemical-pharmaceutical company devoted to develop standards and reference materials of mycotoxins and marine and freshwater toxins for Agrifood sector, now expanded also to Textile and Cosmetic Sectors with standards of compounds such as dyes, additives or fragrances. These materials are obtained with the know-how of the company related to the culture of producing organisms and the application of different extraction and purification protocols. Specific analysis are developed and carried out with techniques of HPLC and NMR to achieve the production of the compounds of interest. It is the only company in Europe producing certified reference materials for marine biotoxins, and recently it has become the first company in the world externally accredited for the production of certified reference materials of certain marine biotoxins according to ISO 17034.
