El Centro de Investigación e Innovación en Lectura, CIIL, es un espacio destinado a transformar el conocimiento y la práctica pedagógica para mejorar la comprensión lectora de niños y jóvenes en Chile.
El CIIL busca generar investigación de punta en relación con la enseñanza y el aprendizaje lector, incluyendo aspectos tales como su desarrollo, teorías fundantes, componentes socio afectivos, estrategias pedagógicas e instrumentos de evaluación, y abordar problemáticas reales a través de soluciones innovadoras basadas en la evidencia.
