The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) is a worldwide organisation with an established international recognition and a global membership strength of more than 35,000 in 50 countries. The organisation was formed in the United Kingdom in 1919 as the Institute of Transport and granted a Royal Charter in 1926.

As part of the wider international family, the main objective of the CILT Central Asia is “To promote and encourage the art and science of logistics and transport”. The Institute achieves this objective through both its membership and its educational qualifications.
