CIMAC Austria

As a representative link to the international expert network CIMAC, NMA Austria reflects the entire value chain of the large engine industry. The 13 member companies represent more than 6.400 employees with a total annual turnover of more than 2.5 Billion EUR. Based on climate-neutral large engines, CIMAC NMA Austria represents an essential component of the energy transition and plays a key role in the field of renewable energies. In combination with decentralized energy systems such as wind energy and photovoltaics, electricity, hydrogen and natural gas networks, climate-neutral large engines enable a future sustainable energy and transport infrastructure. The digitalization of these applications and networking with other forms of energy generation forms the basis for cross-sector system optimizations. We aim to be the technical counterpart for politics and society when it comes to questions, discussions and advice on the role of large engine applications in today’s and tomorrow’s energy and transportation landscape.
