Cinch began with a desire to bring higher quality solutions to the lending industry. Why? Because in our experience lenders are frustrated, commonly battling poor technology, awkward products built for other markets, recalcitrant vendors, painfully slow implementations, vendor lock-in, low agility, and very high costs – hard barriers for small players particularly. We wondered just how we could we make it easier? Frankly most of the products are doing essentially the same thing, and most lenders run similar processes. We challenge why everything needs to be bespoke and complicated – while acknowledging the need for lenders to differentiate. Our approach to this is to build on a leading enterprise platform (Salesforce) to cut down cost and improve quality; build specifically for the Australian market; and have flexibility as the design goal.
