Gardenia’s passion for coffee came from waking up in the morning to help her dad brew a cup, everyday since seven years old. Her whole life she was excited to try specialty coffee in Los Angeles & places she travelled. Starting Cipota Coffee is a personal endeavor that is close to her heart. Her Salvadoran parents shared with her the warmth & love of Central American coffee. Cipota is slang for girl in El Salvador and a term her parents used to refer to her when asking her to get them a cup of coffee with a side of quesadilla a Salvadoran pan dulce.
