CIRCLE’s VISION is that every Indigenous child is able to face the challenges of the present and the future. Our MISSION is to improve the quality of life for Indigenous children and families through tribally driven research, curriculum, language, and evaluation that serves. supports and strengthens communities. At CIRCLE, we believe that children learn best when education decisions are made by members of their community. In collaboration with Indigenous organizations and communities, we work to improve systems in education that advance local methods and knowledge. This is important because when education goals and methods of success are defined locally, the education is more meaningful and sustainable, and the indigenous tribal rights to education sovereignty is upheld.
