Circolo Scandinavo’s Residence in Rome for Nordic Artists is a unique institution. It offers artists from five Nordic countries, and from all forms of art, residency for two or more months under the same roof to work in an interdisciplinary, inter-Nordic environment. This happens nowhere else and is of importance both to each individual artist and to the cultural life of the individual countries as well as to the experience of a common Nordic artistic identity in an international context.
