We design and build interiors that make people feel at home. This craftsmanship often depends on using a lot of material and energy, which is not ideal given the scarcity of natural resources. It’s time to introduce circular thinking into the way we craft our interiors. In the 20 years of being a project manager at an interior building company I have learned to find solutions that transform designs into affordable products. I built many custom interiors and modular constructions for booths and pavilions all over the world. I have become an expert in how to engineer and use materials in a durable way. This knowledge helps me transform interiors from lineair to circular, re-using material where possible and preventing unnecessary waste of energy. There is only so many circular interiors I can build with my own two hands. That is why I also teach people how to apply circular thinking in the way they go about designing and building interiors.
