CERES

What does CERES stand for? It means Circular Economy Innovation Ecosystems Redesigning Skills. Ceres, for the ancient Romans, was the goddess of agriculture, grain crops, and fertility. She was in charge of teaching humans how to master biological cycles to ensure generous crops to feed the hungry Romans. Now fast forward to our days, the CERES project partners are developing updated Circular Economy Curricula. The CERES project recognises that the circular economy transition can be accelerated by searching for solutions in the digital innovation domain. From that, emerges the ambition of cross-fertilising key technological disciplines with the Circular Economy model. CERES makes good use of technologies to foster networking and community-building activities among Circular Economy stakeholders. The Circular Economy Digital Innovation Hub (CE-DIH) will act as a catalyst, connecting stakeholders, fostering innovation, and promoting new skills.
