Circularity as a concept and a pedagogical tool is not widely referred to in early years teaching and learning but we favour it as a metaphor to represent learning processes.
'Us-two' (Yunkaporta, 2019, p 22), are bound by the past, we are "finely attuned to the conditions of the present and speculatively open to the possibilities of the future" (Ingold, 2021, p.200). Our contemporary beliefs about the circularity of learning united 'us-two' as we participated in dialogic conversations that resulted in a shared vision and purpose for our work.
