Cisterra was founded by Steve Black in August 1999 to partner with Cisco Systems Inc, a multi-national corporation. Cisterra was chosen to help accommodate Cisco’s rapid growth through the development of large regional office campuses and sites throughout the United States and Europe.
Since then, Cisterra has assembled a talented and creative group of industry professionals with extensive experience in all facets of real estate including development, leasing, design, and finance. With over 15 million square feet of best-in-class projects, Cisterra continues to identify and develop innovative real estate solutions ranging from high-rise urban mixed-use communities to biotechnology and research facilities to intermodal rail-served industrial, to traditional multifamily.
