CIST International School of Tunis (CIST) was founded by parents from various international backgrounds to provide world class English-based education in Tunis. School curriculum and education project was built to form internationally minded leaders, and provide them with the necessary skills and aptitude to shape the future. Core principles of the school are Integrity, Leadership and Excellence. CIST aim is for students to become well rounded critical and creative thinkers who have the necessary skills to tackle the challenges of tomorrow. CIST provide an outstanding educational environment where students are taught not only to achieve academic excellence but even more importantly develop their soft and leadership skills through extra-curricular activities, competitions, cultural exchanges, field-based and hands-on experiences. CIST balances between academia, leadership skills, character-building, self-discovery and social interactions. CIST not only expects students to learn but also to proactively seek knowledge, to be able to combine the strengths of people through positive teamwork, so as to achieve goals that no one can achieve alone. Students are expected to be purpose driven and act based on principles. CIST prepares students to be great communicators and team players as these are skills that are critical to success in today’s new world. CIST staff are internationally minded, qualified and experienced teachers who are also role models that lead by example. They are not only selected to instill students with knowledge but also to inspire them through their behavior and interactions values and principles. Through personal and small group activities, we advance the moral and social connection of our students and enable them to build self-confidence, independence and interdependence. We aim to create a school atmosphere where everyone is caring, respects each other, appreciate each other’s differences and become a global citizen.
