Citizen Science NOW project

The project aims to foster EU citizen's engagement and access to Citizen Science (CS) by establishing effectively local and regional community networks connecting citizens, adult educators and HEIs to promote sustainable CS development; digitalise adult CS training experiences; and empower adult citizens with essential CS competencies and skills in the partner regions. The Citizen Science NOW project will proceed as follows to achieve the objectives of the project: 1. Create a future foresight report which aims to inspire, inform stakeholders within Citizen Science, and share insights derived from our project. The report will include good practices, trends and conclusions on the meaning of future CS projects. 2. Develop digital training modules and equip citizens with the capacity to engage and initiate CS projects. The Citizen Science NOW will last from 2022 to 2023, is led by the Münster University of Applied Sciences (Germany) in cooperation with the University of Twente (The Netherlands), University of Barcelona (Spain), BESPOKE (Denmark), and ACEEU GmbH (Germany). Citizen Science NOW is an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership in adult education co-founded by the European Commission.
