City Disabilities is an organisation that supports professionals in London who have disabilities or long term medical conditions that affect their working lives. We also support students and graduates with disabilities or long term medical conditions, who would like to join a profession in London, wherever they may currently be studying. Our aim is to make the City a fairer, more human place for people with disabilities to pursue a career.
We provide this support through a free, non-competitive, mentoring service. Our mentors are all professionals who themselves have a variety of disabilities and long term health conditions. The service is open to all. We do not ask for medical records, we do not limit the "disabilities" that qualify for help, and we are happy to support those who self-identify as disabled.
Our service is completely confidential, and your employer or place of study do not need to refer you, or know that we are in touch.
We also provide bespoke training and speakers for diversity and inclusion events for employers in London. Please see our website for further details.
