Studies and political insiders have shown that calling your representatives has a much bigger impact than signing petitions or sending emails. Unfortunately, contacting Congress has become a daunting task. It takes several tries, lines are often busy, and calling regarding multiple issues requires separate calls. Let’s be honest, it’s nearly impossible to be calling daily and repeatedly regarding every single issue we care about. Civic Action Network makes the process a lot easier by introducing Civi. Civi is our users' personal assistant and direct line to Congress. Civi is not a computer. Civi is a real person ready to call on the constituents' behalf. In a nutshell: - Three (3) times a week Civic Action Network sends an email to each user with non-partisan summary of a trending bill - User replies by favoring or opposing the bill - Civi calls the user's corresponding senator or representatives on the constituent's behalf - A report is compiled and emailed back to the user back within 24 hours Our goal? Make civic engagement a habit, instead of a sporadic spike of activism.
