Civic Wave

We are starting in New Jersey to raise awareness around two bills: NJ S237 and S854. The passing of these two bills would require civics to be included in the New Jersey public school curriculum. This would result in an increased understanding of how our government works. As an organization, we recognize that New Jersey is one of a handful of states that do not have mandated civic education courses. Our primary focus lies in getting bills NJ S237 and S854 passed. Once we accomplish this task we are planning to organize and advocate for pieces of legislation in other states.
