Department of Civil Engineering started its first batch of 4-year B.Tech course in Civil Engineering from July 2013. The Department is currently offering a 4-year B.Tech program in Civil Engineering, M.Tech Program in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Water Resources Engineering and Transportation Engineering as well as a Ph.D program. Admission for the 4-year B. Tech Civil Engineering is through JEE Advanced while admission for M.Tech Program is done through the GATE exam. The Department consists of a team of talented faculty members who contribute to the development of the young minds. It aims to be one of the pioneering centres of teaching, training and advanced research in Civil Engineering.
