The section is a part of the Royal Institute of Technology's student union and pursuits surveillance of the education works with student welfare, as well as industry and commerce. Every year the section delivers a wonderful reception for all the new students so that they feel welcomed. The program is called "Civilingenjör och lärare", “Engineering and Teaching”. When graduating, the students will get two exams; one engineering exam, and one teaching exam for an upper secondary school in math and another subject. The students can choose between four different directions; chemistry, energy & environment, physics, and information- and communication technique.
