CLARA Energy has a vision to bring renewable energy to market at scale.
To achieve this CLARA Energy is developing projects including a large scale solar PV green hydrogen production facility using electrolysers midway between Sydney and Melbourne on the Hume Highway.
Producing enough green hydrogen for over 160 heavy haulage trucks will help to displace diesel, decarbonise transport sector and reduce emissions substantially.
Pre development has been undertaken with the assistance of technical adviser Arcadis and commercial adviser PwC.
Detailed design and planning phase is due to commence in first half 2022 with construction to begin 2024, and operations in 2025.
Stage 1 will see production of approx. 25,000 kg per day of true green hydrogen growing to over 100,000 kg per day when stage 3 is complete.
