CLARIN.SI is the Slovene national consortium of the European research infrastructure CLARIN.
Its goal is to support research communities from Humanities, Social Sciences and other language-related disciplines with:
- language resources and technologies and
- expertise and knowledge transfer.
Its vision is to broaden the scope of technological solutions for language studies, with the emphasis on Slovene and other South Slavic languages, as well as encourage cross-disciplinary cooperation.
CLARIN.SI is providing different services, as well as expert and technical support to researchers.

- EXPERT SUPPORT (https://www.clarin.si/info/k-centres/) – lists of frequently asked questions and answers on computer processing of South Slavic languages, the possibility for direct support and organisation of events.
The CLARIN.SI consortium has currently 12 member institutions, which develop or use language resources and technologies in Slovenia: University of Ljubljana, University of Maribor, University of Nova Gorica, University of Primorska; ZRC SAZU, Jožef Stefan Institute, Institute of Contemporary History, Science and Research Centre Koper; National and University Library of Slovenia; Alpineon, Amebis, and Slovenian Language Technologies Society.
