Clarion Malaysia Sdn Bhd

Incorporated in 1970 as a joint venture between the late Mr. S. Takizawa, Founder-President of Clarion Co. Ltd., and our late President Mr. Tan Chuen Hock, Clarion Malaysia is the first of Clarion's off-shore manufacturing plants. Being the first factory built in Penang's Free Trade Zone, Clarion Malaysia was a pioneer in the industrialisation of Penang and has proceeded to supply automotive products globally for over five decades. Clarion Malaysia has continued to expand through its history, from its 40 pioneering production staff, to currently employing a community of 350 hardworking and diverse people. So too have Clarion Malaysia's facilities expanded, first developing a relationship with sub-assembly plant Crystal Precision Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., which continues to supply our Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). After which, Clarion Malaysia opened its Research and Development facility in 1993 which has been moving from strength to strength, helping develop ideas with customers all over the world, in numerous sectors. Today Clarion Malaysia is a global automotive supplier, specialising in In-Vehicle-Infotainment (IVI), supplying directly to OEMs worldwide.
