What is Family Medicine all about?
Family Physician/GP at the core. Your GP is the “main contractor” who has the bulk of the relationship with the patient and if other specialized care is required, will be referred to as a “sub-contractor”. Nobody likes to find their own subcontractors to fix every little part of their house.
Patient Centered Care. The patient is at the core of the services, we exist because of the patient.
Patient Narratives. We want to know the person behind the disease, the face behind all that suffering.
