Classical Guitar Shed is an exploration of music, skill, and daily endeavor on the classical guitar. ClassicalGuitarShed.com has tutorials, lessons and articles that seek to enrich the learning experience of anyone learning the classical guitar. CGS has a variety of content, from solid fundamental technique, to advanced phrasing and lyrical movement, to creative ways to "hack the system" of our body and increase ease, fluidity and efficient motion, to philosophical discussions on the art of practicing and the pursuit of mastery. CGS is known for it's focused and detailed teaching, it's high quality of video production, and it's lighthearted yet dedicated attitude. For anyone interested in guitar, classical guitar technique and skill development, CGS offers some of the best resources and opportunities available. CGS was founded in 2012 by Allen Mathews. Allen has been on the guitar faculty at Reed College and Lewis and Clark College in Portland OR, and has given concerts and workshops at many colleges and universities across the US.
