About Clay Technology

Clay Technology is a research company based out of Sweden. At Clay Technology provide laboratory and modelling services to nuclear waste organizations in many different countries. Some of our clients are SKB (Sweden), POSIVA (Finland), NWMO (Canada) and RWM (UK) but we also provide services to other companies in Sweden and abroad. Our staff is specialised in clay-based barriers for waste disposal as well as rock engineering. We have been the main consultant to SKB (Swedish Nuclear Fuel and Waste Management Co) regarding the design and behaviour of clay-based engineering barriers and backfills in geological repositories since 1988.
