Clean Tech was founded in 1989 as Plastipak Packaging, Inc.’s recycling affiliate to make full use of materials that would have previously been considered waste and therefore discarded in landfills. Now one of the top five recyclers in the US, Clean Tech recycles both PET and HDPE plastics using state-of-the-art recycling systems and technologies. The resulting high-quality post-consumer recycled resin is easily converted back into containers for food and non-food products. Clean Tech’s bottle to bottle approach to recycling keeps millions of pounds of materials from ending up in landfills each year.
