CleanBirth.org works to prevent the needless deaths of mothers and babies in Laos , where maternal and infant mortality rates are among the highest in the world. In the villages where we operate, women give birth alone without clean supplies. To make birth safer, CleanBirth.org has partnered with a local Lao non-profit to train nurses to distribute AYZH Clean Birth Kits. Nurses then train a volunteer from each village to distribute and track the kits and educate mothers in their use. Our goal is to make birth safer. $5 Saves 2 Lives.
