Developed by CleanSubSea, the Envirocart design focuses on the engineering and mechanical aspects of hull cleaning and with two principal challenges in mind. The first of these was to deliver a clean and capture strategy that would gain compliance, the second was to find an innovative way to clean without touching the hull so that anti-fouling coatings are not damaged in the cleaning process.
Envirocart is a revolutionary new in-water hull cleaning system that completely removes, captures and contains marine biofouling from a vessel’s hull without damaging the antifouling paint or polluting the surrounding marine environment.
It is the only hull cleaning system of its kind in the world.
