Cleantech Hub Grounds (CHG) is the brainchild of a visionary pioneer in Municipal Solid Waste Management systems within the UAE. With a rich history of research and innovation, CHG has emerged as a leading provider of sustainable products, offering comprehensive environmental solutions, promoting circular economy development, and reducing operational costs for municipalities, businesses, and communities. Moreover, Solid Waste Management has always been the poster child for bottlenecks and challenges if not, a dark hole for mere government expense and environmental degradation. The CHG Team on the other hand, had always considered this as a grand arena and opportunity for environmental conservation and even unimaginable gross domestic revenue generation. Recognizing this opportunity, CHG has developed a comprehensive waste management strategy which proposes a two-step approach rather than relegating municipal solid waste to landfills or incineration. Segregation of reusable and non-reusable waste is a preliminary measure before considering energy generation or landfill disposal. With over 60% of the population residing in buildings, which accounts for nearly a million people, channelling them towards recycling efforts can yield remarkable results. Achieving a recycling accuracy of 60-70% translates to substantial resource conservation. CHG works tirelessly to continue developing, installing and promoting the system to completely annihilate old and outdated technology that does not only consume more resources but also pulls us back from reaching our goal of contributing in the creation of Sustainable cities and communities in the foreseeable future.
