Clear Languages

Clear Languages is me, Yolanda Vercher, a Spanish speaker who has been living in the UK for close to 30 years. I translate and provide quality control for documents translated from English into my native language, Spanish. Most of my experience in translation has been for international audiences, which means I am able to produce Spanish texts that can be easily understood in both Spain and Latin America. I regularly work as public service interpreter, mostly in Health and other Public Service settings, and I also provide English ↔ Spanish liaison interpreting for business. I have experience managing multilingual translation projects in both commercial and non-for-profit international settings. I can source and brief translators and provide quality assurance of translations. I have higher academic degrees in Biology (from Spain) and Linguistics (from the UK), and I hold CIOL’s Diploma for Public Service Interpreting (Health path). As a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL), I adhere to their Professional Code of Conduct.
