Clemson Consulting Leadership Program

The Clemson Consulting Academic Pilot Program provides an in-depth view of the management consulting industry. Students commit to a 4 to 6-semester consulting program in which industry firms work closely with an assigned cohort of 6-8 students each for the semester, supporting individual consulting case studies. Student cohorts are created from multiple disciplines and departments across campus to comprise the pilot program. This allows the students to simulate an ongoing consulting engagement with clients and industry leaders. Classes include an Introduction to Management Consulting, SME Experiential Consulting, and Advanced Management Consulting. All classes are taught through case studies and real-world experiential learning projects with domestic and multinational consulting firms. On-site client visits are supported throughout the semesters to enrich learning and real-world applications. The course emphasizes multidisciplinary, hands-on practice, real-time feedback, and a full academic year of cooperative consulting engagements.
