ClicknCare,is an online platform for Migrant Workers around the globe to consulta a doctor who speaks their language. It helps them to explain their problem more clearly thereby improving quality of care and productivity using Smartphones. There are about 7 million foreign workers living in Malaysia. Despite the finest health infrastructures and facilities of the country the foreign workers are unable to access the quality service due to three major barriers. Language- most of the workers are illiterate and cannot explain their health problems in Malay or English to the doctors. The cost of the consultation is higher for the foreigners, so it directly hits their pocket. About 60% of the workers do not have any legal document and prevented from accessing any health services legally. However, more than 80% of these people use Smartphone with a fantastic spending behavior for communicating with friends and family using different social media Apps. Availability of native countrymen shops as hub for meeting and different activities including remittance and Telemedicine Act 1997 of Malaysia enables us in implementing the idea. . In our solution we have been able to engage all stakeholders digitally and everyone is financially or socially and environmentally benefited. The migrant workers who do not have any document or those who does not visit due to language, money and thinking of losing his daily wages can now easily get his/her health problem resolved. It also creates awareness among these segment that Smartphone is not only for social media use but has manifold applications. The agents who are usually the shop owners find it a product for them to get loyal customers while many doctors living in Malaysia as dependent find it worthy as an alternate source of income and opportunity to serve their countrymen. There is scope for new job opportunities for our call center where young IT skilled and Health workers can join. Everyone in the eco-system is digitally empowered.
