At Climate Information Watch (CIW), our mission is to advance climate-informed decision-making on a global scale and deter climate disinformation and misinformation implemented by various public and private actors. Behind this initiative is a team of young media and communications professionals from diverse global backgrounds, including Serbia, Sweden, Spain, Romania, Germany, and Georgia, committed to creating a more informed, just and sustainable world for both current and future generations. CIW works to empower citizens in the decision-making process by promoting media literacy, digital literacy, and open source intelligence tools. Through these efforts, we help people think critically about climate action, offer valuable insights into the strategies employed by sources promoting disinformation, and put climate disinformation campaigns into context. Amid the growing wave of misinformation and disinformation, we want citizens to actively engage in climate discourse and understand how these narratives directly impact their lives.
