About ClimateTech APPG

Launched in December 2024, the ClimateTech APPG will champion the UK’s £42bn ClimateTech sector, bridging policymakers and innovators to advance technologies tackling emissions, adapting to climate change, and enhancing sustainability. It will foster collaboration, celebrate innovation, and drive impactful dialogue to position the UK as a leader in climate solutions. The APPG is chaired by Steve Race MP, Member of Parliament for Exeter. The secretariat of the ClimateTech APPG is provided by Startup Coalition. Startup Coalition, formerly the Coalition for a Digital Economy (Coadec), is an independent advocacy group that serves as the policy voice for Britain’s technology-led startups and scaleups. Startup Coalition was founded in 2010 by Mike Butcher, former Editor-at-Large of technology news publisher TechCrunch, and Jeff Lynn, Chairman and Co-Founder of online investment platform Seedrs. Startup Coalition works across a broad range of policy areas that matter the most to startups and scaleups: access to talent, access to finance & regulation. https://startupcoalition.io/ Contact: appg@startupcoalition.io This is not an official feed of Parliament. It has not been approved by either House. APPGs are informal groups of Parliamentarians with a common interest in particular issues. The views expressed are those of the group.
